An opportunity for your child to learn Italian as a second language

Children with typical development and those with high functioning autism spectrum disorder aged between 6-10 years of age are invited to participate in an Italian second language learning research program at MARCS BabyLab.

The six 40-minute Italian language-learning sessions are designed for Australian-English speaking children with no prior second language experience.

These sessions may be held at your child's school, home, or the University of Western Sydney. Touch-screen computer technology will be used to teach Italian through playing language- learning games.

Your child's language abilities will be evaluated before and after their exposure to Italian, and will earn achievement certificates and prizes.

On completion of the program, parents will also receive a comprehensive language assessment report.
