Shaping the Future – from Vision to Action

Professional Staff Conference

The UWS Professional Staff Conference is being held on Monday 4 June 2012 at Penrith Panthers, and is exploring the theme 'Shaping the Future – from Vision to Action'.

The conference is specifically designed for Professional (General) staff, including managers, administrative and technical staff and is a professional development and networking opportunity. The conference is also an opportunity to showcase new initiatives and best practice in higher education.

Abstract submissions are now open. Ideas for abstracts must be relevant to your work at UWS, and may relate to an achievement, innovation, business practice or collaborative venture. Abstract submissions close on Friday 23 March.

Kim Nemetz, member of the Professional Staff Conference Organising Committee, says the conference is a great way to see how our Professional staff members are contributing to our mission.

'We have many dedicated and hardworking colleagues and the conference exhibits a range of innovative and important work achievements,' says Kim.

'It's a great opportunity to show staff members what work you have been involved in that is shaping UWS's future and a great way to find out what your colleagues are working on across UWS.'

For any further queries please contact Kim Nemetz via k.nemetz@uws.edu.au or on 9678 7416 (extension 7416).
