Alumni Volunteers

Numerous Alumni volunteer opportunities are available throughout the year, including assisting at Graduation Ceremonies and other University Events, working with Researchers and Student Mentoring.

Current Opportunities

We will be looking for Alumni Volunteers to assist with Graduations with tasks such as auditorium ushering and regalia return.

Graduation ceremonies are held in April, September and December every year. If you are able to offer your support and experience as an Alumni Volunteer, make sure you fill in the form when registrations open closer to the ceremony dates.

Pathways to Dreaming Mentors

We are currently looking for Alumni Volunteers who would be interested in participating in a High Schools based Indigenous student mentoring program. Pathways To Dreaming: the Indigenous School Student Mentoring Program is making a difference to the way young Indigenous students think about themselves and their futures. Beginning as a pilot program in 2009 at two schools, the program has now expanded to 22 high schools across the Greater Western and South-Western Sydney area.

Mentors work with students in small groups, chatting to them about their interests and goals. Mentors also facilitate the development and implementation of a group project devised by the students.

If you are able to offer your support and experience as a Alumni Adviser and Volunteer we ask that you register your interest in the program below.
