Biography

A leading expert in Australian Studies, Professor Labao Wang is the author of A History of Australian Literary Criticism (Beijing: China Social Sciences Press, 2016); Australian Short Fiction in the 1980s: Continuity and Change, Suzhou: Soochow University Press, 2000 (English); The Purest Art: Euro-American Theories of the Short Story as a Literary Genre, Nanjing: Southeast University Press, 2006; and The New Criticism (John Crowe Ransom, Chinese translation with Zhang Zhe), Nanjing: Jiangsu Education Press, 2006; and many journal articles and book chapters.
