Professor Corrinne Sullivan Presents - Didgeridoo or Didgeridon't? Indigenous Fetishism and Erotic Capital
On Tuesday, August 6, Professor Corrinne Sullivan, Associate Dean (Indigenous Education) and Professor of Geography in the School of Social Sciences, explored the complex intersection of Indigenous fetishism and erotic capital.
Professor Sullivan handled the exploration of Indigenous identity, representation, and empowerment in contemporary society with the appropriate grace, care, and frankness that this subject demands.
We'd like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Professor Sullivan for her powerful and impactful presentation, the thoughtful discussions they initiated, and to all who attended and engaged in this important conversation.
We are excited to see what the 2025 Indigenous Professoriate Lecture’s bring and we hope to see you there.
