Biography
Mark has a background in estimating, civil and architectural design. He worked for some of the largest engineering (GHD) and architectural (Peddle, Thorpe & Walker) consultancies in Australia. He has also been a self-employed builder in the housing sector.
Mark joined UWS in 1991. He has taught in most of the subjects in the field of Construction Management; timber technology, metallurgy, concrete technology, acoustics, thermal design, lighting design, housing construction, commercial construction, surveying, geotechnology, substructural design, structural analysis and design, planning, estimating, research methodology, learning theory, marketing, negotiation theory, organisational theory, building regulations. He established the Bachelor of Housing.
