Biography

Hiromi's research interests include bilingualism, Japanese linguistics, applied linguistics, language acquisition and narrative acquisition. Her most recent work compares Japanese narrative acquisition in monolingual and bilingual children focusing on the syntactic aspects of children's oral narratives. She has written several works on bilingual child language acquisition, Japanese linguistics and online issues in language teaching.

  • Exploring Translanguaging And Its Contribution To Students¿ Engagement In The EFL Classroom.
