Biography

Associate Professor Ana Hol is an Associate Dean, Learning and Teaching, School of Computer, Data and Mathematical Sciences at the Western Sydney University. She graduated from the University of Western Sydney with B.A, first class honours and for her achievements was awarded the university medal. Her research interests are in the areas of Information Systems, SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) Information Technology use, acceptance and adoption; eTransformation and eCollaboration of the businesses within developed and developing countries; Information Systems and applications for education; social networking technologies; process optimisation and knowledge management. Ana is a member of Enhanced Living with Information Systems Research Group and an associate member of Telehealth Research and Innovation Laboratory.  As a part of Ana’s PhD research study, she developed eTransformation guide methodology for the SMEs (eT Guide). She wrote a book and a number of referred conference papers. Ana organised three international conferences. She is a co-editor of the International Journal on Advances in ICT for Emerging Regions and a program committee member and the reviewer for 14 international conferences. Her teaching interests are in the areas of eTransformation, eBusiness, Enterprise Information Management and Information Systems Deployment and Management. Ana is a winner of the Australian Computer Society (ACS) Disruptor ICT Educator of the Year (2018) Award and the South East Asia Regional Computer Confederation Global ICT Educator of the Year 2018 Award.
