Omar and Muneeb showed off the Aldebran Nao robot at the festival, which ran from 8 - 11 July 2015 and aims to cater to the differing interests and needs of Western Sydney children.

The Nao is a $10,000 robot, who in addition to being able to do the Gangnam Style dance, could radically change the way children develop their language skills.

The Nao has been programmed for play and interaction, and will be integral to Muneeb's research in schools later this year.

Omar and Muneeb's demonstration at the WOW Festival was recently reported in the St Marys-Mt Druitt Star newspaper.(opens in a new window)
