Elham Shabani Varaki wins the IEEE Circuits and Systems Charles Desoer Life Sciences Systems Award at BioCAS 2015

Pictured here is our very own PhD student Elham Shabani Varaki (Biomedical Engineering & Neuroscience, The MARCS Institute) being presented with the IEEE Circuits and Systems Charles Desoer Life Sciences Systems Award. This competitive award is being presented by the BioCAS 2015 Conference Chair, Prof. Maysam Ghavanloo. The award recognises students who have exhibited interest in life science systems and is in honor of Professor Charles A. Desoer, a victim of stroke, who is known for his education of circuit and system theorists and in aid of fostering research on stroke.
