2017 IT Service Quality Benchmarking Survey prize draw

  1. Entry to this draw is open to current Western Sydney University students and staff (excluding members of Information Technology and Digital Services) who receive an email invitation to participate in this survey. Members of Information Technology and Digital Services (regardless of whether they are also students) or any agency involved in promoting this draw are ineligible to enter. Each entry must be entered in accordance with these terms and conditions. By entering this draw, each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions. Western Sydney University may in its discretion refuse to award any prize to any entrant who fails to comply with these terms and conditions. Students who are also Staff will only be entered into the staff prize draw using their staff ID number.
  2. Entry into this draw is free.
  3. To be eligible to enter this draw, all entrants must complete the University IT Service Quality Benchmarking Survey, from 12.01am on 9 October to 11.59pm on 22 October 2017. The University IT Service Quality Benchmarking Survey is being conducted by Voice Project on behalf of Australian and New Zealand universities. Incomplete or incomprehensible responses will be ineligible for acceptance into the draw. This is the only method of entry into this draw.
  4. By entering this draw and participating in the University IT Service Quality Benchmarking Survey entrants consent to the University collecting personal information in order to conduct the University IT Service Quality Benchmarking Survey and this draw and may, for these purposes, disclose that information to third parties including Voice Project which is conducting the University IT Service Quality   Benchmarking Survey and agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, if required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry to this draw is conditional on entrants providing this information. Furthermore, entrants consent to the University providing this information to Voice Project, who reserve the right to use the data for comparative benchmarking purposes with other participating universities. The University may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised by an entrant, use the information for personal marketing, research, profiling and publicity purposes, including sending email to, or telephoning, entrants.   5. Only one entry per completed survey will be entered with the winning entries being drawn at random after 22 October 2017. Winners will be notified via their Student email account or staff email account within five working days with information included on how and where to collect their prize. The draw is being held by Voice Project on behalf of the University. All decisions made in relation to this prize draw are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  6. There is a limit of one entry per person. Staff who are also students will be only entered once as a staff member and are not eligible to enter in both categories. Members of Information Technology and Digital Services are not eligible to enter regardless of whether they are also students.
  7. Each entrant warrants to the University that his or her entry is complete and accurate.
  8. This draw expires on 22 October 2017 at 11.59pm.
  9. Any entry received after expiry of the competition period will be invalid. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost, delayed or misdirected entries. All entries become the property of the University and will not be returned.
  10. Winners of the draw will be announced on the University IT Service Quality Benchmarking Survey's website.
  11. The University reserves the right to make a different prize award or no award if they are not satisfied with the draw process.
  12. If anything occurs that prevents or hinders the University's ability to conduct the draw or to deliver the prize to the prize winner, the University may, in its discretion, cancel the draw or recommence it at another time under the same terms and conditions or select another winner.
  13. Western Sydney University is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information or other errors (whether technical or otherwise) that may occur in the course of conducting this draw. The University accepts no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
  14. To the full extent permitted by law, the University will not be liable for any injury, damages, expenses, or loss whatsoever (whether direct or inconsequential) to persons or property as a result of any person entering into the draw or accepting or using the prize.
  15. Western Sydney University reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of any entry or claim for the prize (including, without limitation, identity and other personal details of the entrant).
  16. Any entrant who submits an entry or claim for the prize that is false or is not in accordance with these terms and conditions, or who tampers with the draw process in any way, will be disqualified.
  17. Entrants consent to the University using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in any media (including photographs, film or sound recordings) for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this draw (and any outcome) and promoting the University or its products and services.
  18. By entering this draw, each entrant releases Western Sydney University, its directors, officers, employees and agents from, and indemnifies each of them against, any and all liability or any loss, damage or injury of any kind arising from or in connection with this draw or the prize.
  19. By entering this draw, entrants who are students will be eligible to win the major prize of 1 x $500.00 Gift Card or minors prizes of 1 x $250.00, and 5 x $100.00 Gift Cards. Entrants who are staff members will be eligible to win 1 x $200.00 Gift Card.
  20. All prizes must be claimed in person from an Information Technology & Digital Service support office located on the campus nominated by the winner by 16 December 2017. Prizes cannot be claimed after that date.
  21. No prize can be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash. If the prize becomes unavailable, the University reserves the right to substitute a product of equal value or specification, subject to any applicable laws or written directions from a regulatory authority.
