Making a donation

All deductions, including the One-Off Donations, will commence from the next available pay after receipt of the completed Staff Giving Donation Form or Upgrade Form. The minimum deduction per fortnight is $2. You may select one or more designations.

By completing the Staff Giving Donation Form or Upgrade Form you request and authorise Western Sydney University to deduct from your salary the amount/s as indicated on the form. The University will NOT issue any receipt in respect of the donation but details of your annual contributions will be recorded on your payment summary.

Record keeping and tax information

The Office of Advancement maintains records of Staff Giving donors for the purpose of recognising and communicating with them about the impact of their support. Personal details of Staff Giving donors cannot be released to participating external charities without your express, written permission.

Staff Giving deductions will be made from your pre-tax pay, so that you may receive any tax benefit immediately. Small fortnightly donations may not have an impact on your fortnightly tax withheld. Further enquiries

Once a deduction has been made it cannot be recovered. Donations made under this arrangement are made voluntarily and unconditionally and you will not benefit from the donation other than the benefit of the deduction itself.

Should you wish to change or cease your donation arrangement, you will need to notify the Office of Advancement in writing at giving@westernsydney.edu.au or using the Staff Giving Upgrade Form.
